I was delighted to take part in the Zoom launch of issue 13 of Butcher’s Dog magazine a few weeks ago. If you are interested in contemporary poetry and haven’t checked out Butcher’s Dog yet, I can highly recommend the it. The hard work, care and enthusiasm the editors invest is clearly evident in all aspects of this excellent little magazine.

Today sees the launch of wave three of iamb, a beautifully designed online platform that features recordings of poets reading their work alongside printed versions. iamb is the brainchild of Mark Antony Owen, who writes that his inspiration for the project was The Poetry Archive and that it is ‘ Part directory of poets, part quarterly journal, ‘iamb’ is where established and emerging talents are showcased side by side. Not just their words but their readings of them, too. Expect 60 new poems, every three months, free to your device of choice.’
